With fossil fuel resource depletion and increasing CO2 emission as the major environmental threat in the 21st century, the need for alternative technologies to meet the growing demand for energy in the developing countries is paramount. Aldo Leopold once said, “That the situation appears hopeless should not prevent us from doing our best.” Batra Group’s efforts of investing its capital in the renewable energy and resource efficiency sectors demonstrate its devotion to provide environmentally sustainable solutions to meet the challenge of global warming.

Batra Group in association with its group companies is actively engaged in a number of projects pertaining to clean energy technologies such as Solar, Wind, Hydro, Geothermal & Energy from Waste.

The group and its associate companies are utilizing their resources and experience to explore newer and more efficient ways to harness the natural resources of energy in order to meet the demand for renewable, indigenous, sustainable and economically viable power industry.

One of the group’s associate companies has signed a Power Purchase agreement with the Govt. of Gujarat to setup a Solar Thermal Power Plant of 25MW as a first step in this direction.

Another one has pioneered the setting of Asia’s first fully automated glass processing plant in Gujarat to produce high quality parabolic mirrors used in Concentrated Solar Power Projects across the globe.
